Backing up or making a copy of the SD card that your Raspberry Pi is running on is generally the last thing that we will get done, if we get to it at all. The more you have running on a Raspberry Pi, the more time it will take to recreate the software and configuration changes that you have made. Which would you rather do – take a few minutes to make a backup copy of the Rpi SD card or potentially spend a lot long recreating all of the steps to create a new card from scratch ?
