Here are a view ways you can do something with Voice Control to help things around the house. This might just be a way that you can start to convince others in your family to there are ways they can use Voice to do something other than turn lights on and off.

d. At this point, you arent able to delete or remove items from a shopping list. A request to do that will open a browser where you can select the list you want to remove or delete items from - Cortana
a. Use the cortana app on your smartphone
b. To add item, tap microphone and say add “name of item” to shopping list
c. To remove item, tap microphone and say delete “name of item” from shopping list
d. To show shopping list, tap microphone and say show shopping list
