Here is how to build your own NAS

1. Download RPi image from openmediavault.org
2. Burn image onto microSD card using etcher
3. Insert microSD card in Rpi
4. Connect WD USB drive to powered USB hub
5. Connect powered USB hub to Rpi
6. Connect power supplies to Rpi and powered USB hub
7. Turn on all device
8. Wait about 10 minutes for everything to install and power up
9. Check the DHCP Server on your router for a device name of RaspberryPi
10. Using that IP address, open up a web browser to access the management console for openmediavault
11. Setup the drive for being access
    a. Click on Storage, File Systems
    b. Click on Drive
    c. Click on Mount
12. Setup a user to access the file share
    a. Click on Access Rights Management, Users
    b. Click on +Add
    c. Click on Add
    d. Enter name of user and password where indicated
    e. Click on Save
    f. Click on Apply
    g. Click on Yes
13. Setup Drive for being shared
    a. Click on Services, SMB/CIFS
    b. Click on Enable
    c. Click on Save
    d. Click on Apply
    e. Click on Yes
    f. Change on Workgroup to match what you are using on your windows computers
14. Setup Drive to be shared
    a. Click on Shares
    b. Click on +Add
    c. Click on + On Shared Folder line
    d. Enter name for Share (i.e. NAS) in name field
    e. Click on drop down arrow on device line and select the USB drive you connected
    f. Click on Save
    g. Click on Save
    h. Click on Apply
    i. Click on Yes

The drive you just setup and the share that was enabled is now ready to use
