When traveling, finding a local AM or FM station can be a challenge. With the Simple Radio app, you have the option of listening to your favorite stations, even when far away from home. In some cases, you may listen to the national feed of the broadcast.
You are listening to the audio stream of the station you choose in the Simple Radio app. When travelling over long distances, it at least gives you an option of continued listening without having to seek a station from the area you are driving into potentially causing you to not fully concentrate on the task of driving.
